You could try sharing the USB key, or whatever it is, (If it gives you the option), thats plugged into the USB port. You cant share the USB port itself. A USB device like a USB key / printer etc would have to be plugged into it first, then shared. |

| 401868 | 2005-11-04 23:50:00 | You could actually "share" a port directly with a USB switching HUB (www.ascent.co.nz) , but just sharing them as whole drive through Windows File Sharing would be cleaner. Here is a discussion oh how to get fire sharing to remain in place between reboots (www.experts-exchange.com) Alternatively you could have automatic syncing between your USB drive and the PC's hard drive it is plugged into and share that instead. |
