| 401856 | 2005-11-04 12:58:00 | When I log on Screen comes up with display as normal Start buttons and desktop icons, but then all icons and start disappear and I am left with only the screen saver. If I quickly manage to get into the built in help I can regain all desktop through my documents. Message of unable to load vendorprefs has now appeared twice. Recently installed Digital Camera Canon quicktime disk. Have scanned with everything I have for virus comes up clean. Am really sick of reading just about everything I can find. | murphy (9203) | ||
| 401857 | 2005-11-04 18:37:00 | Sounds like this is a common prob with HP systems. Dont think this will help, but go here www.spywareinfo.com and download hijackthis. Unzip the file so its in its own folder. And post the log here. |
