401701 2005-11-03 20:03:00 just installed service pack 2 and became stuck in a continuous reboot loop but was able to get out by uninstalling sp2.
now, i need to remove files and the problem is i have no taskbar to start programs, have desktop icons
i have real sad graphic quality that i cannot improve
i can cut and copy yet the files will not paste to usb stick for removal.
intending to reformat after rescue.

401702 2005-11-03 20:35:00 I would say u have spyware/adware .

SP2 will reboot XP continuously, if u have either on the system .

And it may also reboot continuously, if u have a Prescott CPU .

You need the videocard drivers, if you've just done a clean install .

Thats why the desktop / graphics look crappy .

You could either get hijackthis from here . spywareinfo . com/~merijn/" target="_blank">www . spywareinfo . com

Unzip the file first into its own folder . Then do a scan and post the log here (if it works) . Or reformat .
