| 401608 | 2005-11-03 06:33:00 | hi all,wondering if anyone has givin a compaq desktop pc a power upgrade,ie going from 250watt proprietory psu :angry to a 350watt one ive actualy got one that will fit in the case and the plug looks the same,just realy need to know what traps there are .the mother brd is a asus a7n8x-la again no info cause asus only make them for hp,and hp tech help is not much help.thnx in advance | ferrite (4221) | ||
| 401609 | 2005-11-03 07:49:00 | amazing you got one to fit ! tho dos it fit the right way up? i have one here where the psu fits in UPSIDE DOWN. will the cables fit ones the psu is installed? check for any non-standard plugs on the old psu, hp had a few with werid power plugs. |
