402738 2005-11-08 04:53:00 ive got a few clips here in .avi format. i open it through winamp but i cant see the video but i do hear the sound, but in VLC it works perfectly. whats wrong with my winamp?. how do i fix it, ive reinstalled and it still dont work,ive got the latest version of winamp.... im having a look on the winamp site, i might need a plug in....

402741 2005-11-08 05:10:00 If you have something like Powerdvd, or some DVD program, install it.

It may install the codecs for it.

it looks like its a codec problem, im trying one now....
i like to play most of my media through winamp.

i looked through the winamp forums and they pointed to free-codecs.com too, download one and it works now.
