402232 2005-11-06 02:28:00 Asus P4P 800-VM mobo

Just installed XP onto a machine with this motherboard, but it has no video card... assuming it has on-board video? I can't find drivers to set it up correctly.

Could someone please help?

Thanks!

402233 2005-11-06 02:35:00 I think thats what the VM means , video onboard.

Here's the audio drivers

dlsvr01.asus.com

24mb

The LAN

dlsvr01.asus.com

The Extreme graphics drivers

dlsvr01.asus.com

All from here

support.asus.com

Type in P4P800 under input model to search, for other things u need for this mobo.

402234 2005-11-06 02:51:00 Cheers Speedy - hopefully they'll work. Never had vid drivers from Asus site work better than specific drivers from the chip makers.

Appreciated.

Cheers

402235 2005-11-06 02:59:00 No worries :)

Umm the drivers should be alright. I use ASUS systems here.

Most of the updated drivers were from the ASUS site. They work OK.

The only other driver, I had to get was from SIS / the LAN drivers, since they had a later version than whats on the ASUS site.

And the Nvidia drivers, from the Nvidia site.
