I have tried everthing, like swap the connecting cables and drives even tried all sort of setting , even BIOS settings. But still cannot get those two IDE detect. ( even disconnect the USB from Front USB Connector on m/b) Can any one help? The forrowing is my system and bio setting. The m/b is Gigabyte GA-81915P Duo Pro with sata0,sata1,sata2 sata3 and IDE1, IDE2 and IDE3 connector on board. I have 2 sata hd connecte on sata0 and sata1 connector. And dvd rom is connecte on IDE1 connector ( I have tried to connect on IDE2 & IDE3 connector but it would not detect.) The Bios Version is F6 and all the setting currently are default settings. In Integrated Peripherals screen under On Chip Sata Mode currently setted on AUTO (Had tried the Combined, Enhanced, and Non-Combeined settings but no joy) Thank you. |

| 403225 | 2005-11-11 04:06:00 | Are the Primary / Secondary Master/slave IDE entries in the BIOS on AUTO?? These settings, wont be under the SATA option in the BIOS, coz they're not SATA hdd's. And did you set the jumpers on the 2 IDE hdd's on Master, or slave as well? |

| 403226 | 2005-11-11 09:14:00 | Hi Speedy Gonzales, Yes, the IDE entriesin the BIOs setting is on Auto . the Jumpers on h/d is on Master.( all the settings in Bios are in Default settings. I have connected a PATA IDE h/d on IDE2 connector on m/b but it does not show on BIOs SCREEN ( does not show in Integrated Peripherails screen nor in My Computer Windows) But on P.O.S.T Screen ( the second flash POST screen ) did detect that the h/d was on Primary-Master. By the way if I move the h/d to the IDE1. it detected OK Will it be possible that IED2 & IDE3 are faulty? Thank you. |
