403176 2005-11-09 22:02:00 I installed coreldraw onto my bosses laptop. The OS is w98. When he tried opening attachments in outlook there was a message saying that there was a conflict. So, I uninstalled coreldraw.
Now, when he tries to open .jpg attachments a message pops up
'The file, c:\windows\temporary internet files\OLK41A1\image007.jpg', does not have a program associated with it for this action. To create an association, double click My Computer, on the view menu choose options, file types.'
I have done this and there are associations in the registered file types list for JPEG Image with extensions for JPEG & JPE and JPEG Image with extension for JFIF.
The first opens with photoed and the second with IEXPLORE.
Any advice would be appreciated.

403177 2005-11-09 22:25:00 Well it probably should have already worked

I would suggest right clicking on a jpg
--> go to "open with" select the "choose program" option
wait half an hour for the selection box to pop up and select IE or whatever and tick the box that says "always use this option to open these file"

may work
