402951 2005-11-09 08:33:00 Recently installed Adobe Acrobat CS2 (9.0) to have discovered Adobe feel it has the right to place "Adobe PDF" toolbars and context menu items throughout Windows and MS Office. Does anyone know of a way to disable this toolbars and menus in Acrobat or through registry hacks? imarubberducky (7230)

Just right-click on the Office/Windows menubar, and untick the Adobe PDF option.

402953 2005-11-09 08:53:00 The toolbars that are a problem are in Office, they return even if u uncheck them (for PDF only).

The toolbars in Windows ive manged to get rid of without them returning, however the "Convert to Adobe PDF" right click context menu still exists when i click on .txt and .doc etc files.
