1393805 2015-02-08 23:52:00 Haven't run this for a while, ran it this morning, it updated to ver 9.5.1

Clicked 'Start' and it did its stuff, I left it running and when I came back, it has completed successfully - that's great!

But later, I realised that I've missed out an item and clicked 'Start' again and it spit out the following:

What have I done wrong?

1393806 2015-02-08 23:59:00 Probably have to start again Speedy Gonzales (78)
1393807 2015-02-09 00:07:00 I restarted it, even rebooted my PC. bk T (215)
1393808 2015-02-09 00:08:00 You may have to delete the folders then extract it again as well Speedy Gonzales (78)
1393809 2015-02-09 03:36:00 Installed the latest version but couldn't figure out how to download it to my USB flash drive so that I can just plug it to any machine and update it. bk T (215)
1393810 2015-02-09 03:49:00 As long as the updategenerator.exe and the folders are on the USB drive ( as shown below) it will download automatically to the USB drive. To apply to another computer plug in the USB drive, open the client folder, double click updateinstaller.exe and away it will go.

BUT ----- hope you dont want it for XP -- Since its now end of life the updater wont work, comes back with unsupported System, only goes as far back as Vista.

1393811 2015-02-09 04:04:00 Oh, no. I haven't got all those files there, here is what I've got:

6203

How do you get it there? Can I just copy it over, or, unzip to the USB drive?

1393812 2015-02-09 04:20:00 At great personal expense ( in other words put off opening my beer) :p Downloaded the latest version from http://download.wsusoffline.net/ In the zipped file are the following -
6204

You would extract the contents someplace then copy to a USB drive. Double click the updategenerator.exe, select what you want to download, ( tick boxes) then click Start, and it does the rest. Inside the client folder is the updateinstaller.exe used to install on another PC.

Depending on what you select when updating will depend on what files/ folders will be created, Eg. The o2K10/13 are Office updates.
