| 1393207 | 2015-01-28 04:49:00 | A tool bar named Omega Plus has installed itself as my default toolbar in Windows Explorer. I thought I should be able to remove it via uninstall programmes in Control Panel but I can't find it there. I'd appreciate some advice on how I can make it disappear for good. Thanks JR |

| 1393209 | 2015-01-28 05:46:00 | I found this about removal: This malware likes to change the shortcut to your web browser (Internet Explorer) so as to load it's own web page. So instead of reading "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" (or something like) it reads "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" "http://iserach.omega-plus...". If you have a shortcut, right click and select properties. Elsewhere, right click then right click Internet Explorer and select properties. Then delete the reference to the web page (i.e. everything inside and including the second pair of quotation marks). |
