1392981 2015-01-25 03:21:00 Does anyone use or have used the Duplicate Finder feature in Ccleaner? I have quite a lot of files which are in two places and they seem to be identical, is it safe to remove these? Some go back to 2008. Any advice appreciated.

Thanks LL

1392982 2015-01-25 07:43:00 Hi L L.
Of course it is safe--I have used exactly that for several years==and even gained some space afterwards

1392984 2015-01-26 06:12:00 its average but does work. Anti twin is better and is also free. gary67 (56)
1392985 2015-01-26 06:27:00 So when you run it and find all the duplicates, do you just then tick every second one, and remove them?
Maybe I'll try Anti Twin and see how that works.

1392987 2015-01-26 23:29:00 Effie - if both are ticked on the list does that not remove both items, or as LL asks do you just tick every second one smithie 38 (6684)

Hi old fulla,

You do not do every one -- you tick the top square then move slightly right on the same line and right click- bingo it works

1392990 2015-01-27 04:02:00 Hi Effie

Thankyou for letting us all know how to do it - the right click and then "select all" is the answer.
