2014-08-06 03:25:00 | This is for the people of Epsom who don't want several new ACT MPs coat-tailing in. Vote for the National candidate. No left-wing candidate can possibly succeed, so voting for them means wasted votes. If the National guy wins, National get only one supportive MP, not several. In the last election, the combined National-Labour-Green vote outnumbered the ACT vote by several thousand, even though the ACT candidate got the most votes.

2014-08-06 05:06:00 | Epsom's mob may be a tad suspect in the series of criminals they send to Wellington, but as an Electorate they give more wool per head than any other in the country. ;) | R2x1 (4628) | |
2014-08-06 05:34:00 | If I was a Epsom Nat voter, I wouldn't be happy that NATs expected me to vote for some looney right winger Perhaps thats why Nats didnt do a deal in East Coast Bays, it may have backfired on them.

2014-08-06 06:02:00 | I think by now it should be accepted that Epsom voters actually want an ACT MP (no matter how strange that may appear :), in the same way as the Ohariu voters in an equally strange way keep returning Peter Dunne. As Dunne has been the only United Future MP since 2008, it seems odd that National should do a deal with him, it hasn't gained them any extra MPs... or perhaps they consider the seat could go to Labour if they didn't have a cup of tea with Dunne. | Terry Porritt (14) | |
2014-08-06 08:41:00 | Are you suggesting they vote that way out of malice? I gave them the benefit of the doubt and put it down to incompetence while wielding a pen. ;) | R2x1 (4628) | |
2014-08-06 08:45:00 | Well, they have voted so many times now for ACT that it may well be malice, even malice aforethought................ | Terry Porritt (14) | |

2014-08-06 09:53:00 | If it would be a national disaster if Epson voters get muddled, they hold the key to stop us getting a commie government in September. | prefect (6291) | |
2014-08-06 10:24:00 | Voting for act in Epson will let the evil dear leader shonkey donkey back into power. Not even god if there was one can help us if that happens | gary67 (56) | |
