| 403471 | 2005-11-11 09:33:00 | Wanting to update the firmware for my Sony 710a. So have been looking around for instructions on how to disable DMA which Sony say to do.Gets a bit confusing in Device Manager,as I have two Primary IDE Channels listed and 2 Secondary Channels.Do I go into all -Properties/Advanced settings and change both device settings/transfer mode to Pio only? Then do the opposite after flashing the DVD drive? This seems to be for the whole pc, not just the drive itself, correct? Thanks. | Neil McC (178) | ||
