| 404580 | 2005-11-15 19:29:00 | Since a few days ago, something tries to change the homepage on my computer to Http://homepage.main-hosting.com on every startup. (The actual website takes you to a poorly written page about how your computer is infected with spyware and to download their program) Spyware guard detects it on startup and asks me If I want to change back, so I click yes. I have scanned for spyware/adware but haven't found anything. Trend micro's free spyware scanner picked up a few things but they were associated to OK programs, like eMule, DC++ etc... Does anyone know anything about this??? (and hopefully how to get rid of it) |
