When I shut down my computer at night it takes at least 2 minutes for the dialogue box to appear after I go START then TURN OFF COMPUTER. All other windows are closed Nortons antivirus upto date and scanned Adaware + Spybot up to date and scanned Running Windows XP with SP 2. |

| 404308 | 2005-11-14 10:10:00 | Ditch Nortons Clean out unneeded crap in system startup. Ditch all the cache and temp files (crapcleaner gets a lot, but misses alot as well) Get rid of any fancy dandy themes and screensavers. |

| 404309 | 2005-11-14 10:49:00 | And there is also the Taskbar as well. (clean out programmes that are not needed for faster start up and close down) And get rid of as many icons and folders on the desktop,you will save memory as well. Do a disk defrag., it will help as well. |
