He needs a million things retrieved and they are EVERYWHERE, never seen such a mess, in the roor dir, on the desktop - all over the place. To make it worse he (through no fault of his own) has no CDs and no recovery (its a Compaq). Oh and its full of spyware, completely ^%$#ed up and about to crash totally. But you're not a tech...are you... |

If I were in West Auckland, I'd do it . Just need the right programs to fix the spyware and retrieve whatever programs / files are missing . |

Ahhh, The aroma of youthfull arrogance, As the years go by this will give way to earned experience . If it were up to me I wouldn't let you near a clients PC at this stage . |

| 405341 | 2005-11-19 04:50:00 | It also depends on what u mean by retrieve . (Retrieve, as in deleted files, or retrieve as in backing up programs that are installed already) . Which is pointless for programs that have already been installed, and pointless if the person has overwritten, or installed files AFTER, whatever files, have been deleted . Spyware would be easy to remove . |
