405534 2005-11-20 05:45:00 grrrrr, there is some tension in the air this weekend.....
This is what I learned in English:
More often than not, at a novel’s heart is a conflict or a relationship. This is because an author frequently includes twist-and-turns in a novel so as to make it worth reading and attention-catching.

405535 2005-11-20 10:55:00 Get this

Trojan remover ( . filekicker . com/send/file/168259-1P80/trsetup . exe" target="_blank">dl . filekicker . com)

Run it, click on update, to update it, then click on scan .

Then select the 3rd - 7th option under the utilities menu .

Then go to the file menu, and select scan for active malware, scan running processes, and scan downloaded program files . See if it picks anything nasty up .

If it doesnt pick anything up, it maybe hardware related .

no luck so what now ??

i just went into msconfig and unticked everything so nothing wud start at startup and i restarted wen it came back on it took just as long to load up as wen i have norton running !!

405540 2005-11-20 17:13:00 could also be worth runnin a test on the hard drive.........download a manuafacturers diagnostic like for example 'seatools' from www.seagate.com then run its 'generic' diag if you dont have a seagate drive....... drcspy (146)
405541 2005-11-20 21:04:00 How much free space do you have on your C: drive?

Leave everything switched off in the startup.

Completly uninstall Norton.

Test, if no better you have crap hardware, try swapping each part out in turn.

405542 2005-11-20 21:45:00 So, did you use trojan remover remover or not?

Just unticking msconfig entries doesn't mean you dont have anything nasty .

And what prob did u have with ccleaner?? It doesn't screw anything up .

I doubt very much that this screws things up . Just by cleaning all the trash off your system .

It's most probably something else, thats making things go slow .

If you haven't done the above yet, i suggest you do so . There's really no point in us helping you, if you dont want to listen!

Whats in the case? In the way of hardware? videocards, modems, hard drives etc, and whats the power supply? How many watts is the power supply?
