405048 2005-11-17 08:34:00 Every time? Perhaps you can elaborate more on when did you start receiving those Windows error messages? Did it start to appear after installation of some programs etc.? Not sure if this may help, but have you try performing scan disc? Good luck (y)

Cheers :)

405049 2005-11-17 08:39:00 if i remeber correctly this usually means corupt registry. there is an MS article on the repair. if i get time i'll scout for the article.

405050 2005-11-17 09:31:00 The link tweak'e will get you up and running again I've done it several times.
I've also copied the file over from a parallel XP installation, I had to reinstall some programs but at least I got access to the data I needed.
An option if all else fails

405052 2005-11-17 10:40:00 Yep I had the same problem due to a faulty harddrive. just follow the instructions on microsoft's website (support.microsoft.com) and you'll be fine. Agent_24 (57)
