Start > All Programmes > Accessories > System tools > Character Map Just click on the accented character you want and it will give the Alt+numbers code you need. If you are trying to type in French I have all the french accented characters written down, I have put them in if you want? |

| 404839 | 2005-11-17 08:27:00 | If I'm doing a word doc that requires them I usually have Character map open and either drag & drop the required Character/Symbol into the doc or copy & paste works well too | bartsdadhomer (80) | ||
| 404840 | 2005-11-17 19:41:00 | Thanks Faded_Mantis and bartsdadhomer for your your assistance. Strange that while my post was timed 12:03 PM yesterday your replies were posted at 9:19PM and 9:27 PM yesterday. Obviously you have been gazing into your crystal balls. Would love one of those. God bless, Pat, |
