| 405788 | 2005-11-21 05:49:00 | He is allowed to choose any username he likes... Does the agreement states that specific usernames are not allowed to be used? Cheers :) Common sense would dictate it isn't a smart move. Furthermore, when we swapped over forum software I stated that hijacking existing users' ids wouldn't be tolerated, and by extension I think its clear that an attempt to impersonate someone else, however transparent, will be looked down on with suitable omnipotent wrath. We banned several folks and a number of ids after the swap over when this happened. Unlike the most of you, my id is my real name, and I take a dim view of someone passing themselves of as me, whether it is done in jest or not. I'm not to keen on Google recording inane comments from someone listing themselves as me. Any stupidity listed under my name can come from my own lips/keyboard thanks. |
