405981 2005-11-21 02:22:00 Hi all

I bought a copy of Ghost Recon recently. I installed in on the

Compaq Presario
Pentium III 933Mhz
384Mb RAM
Intel 82810E Graphics Controller
Windows xp Pro service pack 2.

And it came up with an error and asked me to send an error report.
I then downloaded the two patches, 1.3 & 1.4 and installed them. Now when I open Ghost Recon the CD revs up and the program looks to start and then it stops without any message.

I have tried running it in compatibility mode too.

Any ideas?

405982 2005-11-21 02:56:00 It doesn't need compadibility mode - I run it fine on XP pro. Can you reinstall it & give us more details on the error? Greven (91)
405983 2005-11-21 03:13:00 I changed the graphics to 16bit in Windows and now it works.

Do you know of any 2 player co-op maps against the computer? I am on a 2 computer network and we would like to play together against the computer.

405984 2005-11-21 07:48:00 All the mission maps should work in coop - just take your time checking all the game settings because I don't think the defaults are very good for when you first start playing. Greven (91)
405985 2005-11-21 21:08:00 I mean coop with bots so we could play a mission against the computer. music_man (5482)
405986 2005-11-21 22:13:00 From memory (haven't played it in yonks) you can do that as one of the multiplayer options. I know we did it at work, having three of us on a squad and played the mission maps against the AI. Just check the settings as suggested. It's one of the neat features of the game that you can do that. Biggles (121)
405987 2005-11-22 01:43:00 My class used to play it at polytech & we got to the point where the bots wouldn't get a single hit on any of the team members in our favourite maps. Greven (91)
