| 406674 | 2005-11-22 21:58:00 | Can anyone recommend a headset or handset for Skype that they have found to be useful and useable? DSE are selling the LASER USB VOIP phone for about $60. The alternatives are headsets with a built-in microphone. Which do you prefer. Which brand and model? Cheers Lizard |

| 406676 | 2005-11-23 03:30:00 | I brought a headset with mic down the road for $12. Works with Opera, Skype, and MS office, for speech recognition. You dont need any fancy rubbish. Here (www.edencomputers.co.nz) Altho this pic shows that the headset is padded, it isnt. |

| 406680 | 2005-11-23 10:18:00 | I brought a headset with mic down the road for $12 . Works with Opera, Skype, and MS office, for speech recognition . You dont need any fancy rubbish . Here ( . edencomputers . co . nz/p . aspx?323323" target="_blank">www . edencomputers . co . nz) Altho this pic shows that the headset is padded, it isnt . Thanks for the advice guys . My initial thoughts were that a simple headset similar to the one Speedy linked to would be fine, but I imagined that if you used Skype for any length of time, a headset might be quite limiting, hence the more traditional handset DSE are selling . Anyone have any other views on this? Lizard |
