407313 2005-11-25 01:08:00 I use CCleaner which seems to clear most temporary files. I read somewhere that if you use RUN and type %temp% the files shown can also be deleted. Can anyone confirm this before I rush in and delete them?. Thanks. Pato (2463)
407314 2005-11-25 01:11:00 They do the same thing. Only diff is ccleaner will clean the temp files for you, when u click on run cleaner.

%temp% will take u to the temp folder. You have to delete the files yourself.

Speaking of which 1.26.218 of ccleaner just came out.

407315 2005-11-25 01:11:00 yes but there can be several different temp locations and you have to watch for files that are currently in use which is why cleaning progs are so much easier to use. tweak'e (69)
407316 2005-11-25 01:34:00 Thanks chaps that clears it up for me. It may be better to just use CCleaner and not worry about the ones that show up when using RUN. Pato (2463)
