2005-11-28 04:13:00 | Gaming and laptop in the same sentence....bit like Skoda and dragracing in the same sentence. About the only thing that would be likely is an Alienware laptop. Maybe.

2005-11-28 04:18:00 | uh, There are dozens of game capable laptops, All they need is a good video chipset with its own dedicated video ram. Granted they wont keep up with a fully fledged gaming PC, but neither does my desktop, and thats a gaming rig. Now, I might squeeze in 20 minutes of Doom3 on my laptop before heading home.....

2005-11-28 04:55:00 | There was a gaming-purpose laptop introduced by Dell quite long ago. I think it was Dell Inspiron. It has a built-in subwoofer as well. On the other hand, would building your own laptop sounds like a difficult task? Cheers :) P.S. Just seen your signature, Zahmad, and I think it would be a wise move to upgrade the memory of your desktop.

2005-11-28 05:43:00 | Subs in laptops make me laugh, damn things are the size of a thimble, Oh yeah, crank those funky bass notes. Would have been better off using that space for something that didn't suck. Like another fan........

All depends on how you class "Game capable". You could play Solutaire on any of them... :p |

2005-11-28 08:00:00 | My laptop is an Athlon 2800,512mb,M9600pro 64mb video ram.......runs every game I have ever thrown at it just fine, though of course the later games mean a reduction in detail....BF2 went alright on low detail. And its nearly 2 years old. | Metla (12) | |
