| 407865 | 2005-11-26 12:54:00 | I am trying to burn a cd and my computer keeps saying "please insert disk in drive e: " when there is already a disk in there, at first i thought it was the drive but it only happens on these two cd's they wont read at all or run, but i put other cd's in there and its fine, there are no scratches on the cd's and they work on other computers fine , is there some kind of setting on my computer that wont read some types of cd's only? thanks | lisamarie01 (6731) | ||

That message does mean that the drive can't recognise that CD as a CD. It's often the indication that a drive is dead, when it can't recognise any CD. :( Anyway, it's not any form of copy protection; the OS hasn't seen a CD to protect. |
