| 407683 | 2005-11-26 01:28:00 | In theory you ought to be able to transfer it (of course you have to fix /etc/fstab, and the boot manager, so it knows where it is). :thumbs: The trick is to use tar (possibly using compression) piped to tar unpacking it on the destination disk. :cool: cp might do it, with careful attention to the options, so all permissions are correct. I think I'd do a clean install. ;) tar is still a good bet for transferring all the data. |
