Hi
Every now and again my monitor nearly turns off then goes back on. This is while i am using the computer. Then the computer would not boot so we sent it for repair. The computer technician said it was a video card hardware problem. He has installed a new card and computer works fine except for these flashes which still occur. Does anyone know what this means as i dont think it is video card as i was able to access safe mode? :confused: |

Sounds like a faulty monitor. Can you try it on another computer to confirm? If it does the same thing, then it's the monitor. I'm not sure an old screen is worth repairing now days. Good luck. |

What monitor do you have? Specifications? It will help more if we know what monitor you are using. |
