409050 2005-11-30 08:37:00 Im on the last leg now creating a CD of a family photo album, all I need some suggestions on is how to create a 110mm? circular image, to printout onto a label and stick on to these CDs, using MSpaint or PSP7.

Please note its the CD I want to label, not the Jewel case.

Or does anyone know of a freebee program that will take an image and do the same.

Thanks...............John in Mosgiel.

409052 2005-11-30 08:40:00 It'll be better if u use something like Nero, which has a program called Coverdesigner. Its for cd labels. Speedy Gonzales (78)
409053 2005-11-30 08:47:00 Note that if you want this CD to last many years as a digital photo album, the last thing you should ever do is use a label on it.

There is evidence around now that the adhesive on many labels can drastically shorten the useable life of the CD, by eating into the data layer.

409054 2005-11-30 08:57:00 You can download CD templates from multiple places, though a CD labelling kit usually comes with the required software, which is designed to fit the exact labels that its bundled with, The Nero option can be a bit hit-and-miss.

Though as has already been noted, I would advise against labels, If you must have them then get CD's that are already fixed with a printable label and a priter that can print on em....

409055 2005-12-05 02:49:00 I have an Epson r310 printer with CD/DVD printing ability. I am very impressed with the CD printing utility. It prints fantastic photos as well.

409056 2005-12-05 07:45:00 I thought the ink on the labels was caustic to the CD as well ... but that was a few years back... netchicken (4843)
