408540 2005-11-29 06:32:00 I use Adobe Acrobat 6 to create pdf files from Word 2003. But I find that many of the bitmaps print out with a thin black border on one or two sides.

When I view the pdf file, I can see these mysterious thin lines but, bafflingly, they don't correspond with the ones in the hard copy. And they vary again according to zoom magnification.

How can I fix the problem ... I've tried lots of settings but ....

408542 2005-12-01 02:28:00 It's a pitty you didnt find this out before you shelled out $1500 for applications that didnt quite do what you were hoping for. :D Rob99 (151)
408543 2005-12-01 03:46:00 For a more generic solution than just word docs I use PDF Creator (sector7g.wurzel6.de) It's free, sets up a printer driver and I've yet to have a problem with the current version, and the only problem I've ever had was a permissions error while running without admin rights.

I'm sorry about the $1500 too.
