I get really annoyed by people just jumping in and saying something is crap or useless and to instead use their favourite program when the person was simply asking for help. Their are numerous people on here who don't like Symantec stuff regardless of what it is and are always saying so. Try to keep your personal preferences aside and answer the questions instead. I too had trouble with NIS2005 but I simply unstalled it and installed it again. One other problem is setup and maybe you have turned something on you should not have. Oh and by the way no virus has ever got past NAV on my machine that has not been spotted as the program was downloaded. Also all attacks are repelled with ease with NIS. Now I am not going to say it is the best because what is best for me is not best for someone else. Go with what you like but please don't put other stuff down all the time. Actually, no no Nortons Security center is crap. If you like your machine running at half speed then it is GOLD! lol Advice, try something better! |
