which media would be the best to use to play .wav music files bitrate 5644kb/sec? itunes does not run anymore always give the send error message, i read on the net bout uninstalling quicktime but quicktime is not in the add/remove programs |

Well, Winamp (www.winamp.com) Jetaudio Basic (http:) Windows Media Player (http://www.microsoft.com) SHOULD play wavs. Or most audio formats. |

To play .wav files you can just use CD Player (on the computer under accessories in the start menu) or Winamp or Windows Media Player. ITunes is actually not the best choice. |

There's not a great deal (I believe, only a guess, don't fry me) between Media Player Classic and the standard software. The standard software does all you really need playing .wav, turning your .wav into .wma files and playing MP3. Furthermore if it's Media Player 10 it can be used to view VCD's and DVD's, even though PowerDVD (all versions) are better for this. |

i read on the net bout uninstalling quicktime but quicktime is not in the add/remove programsI'm not sure how things work with Windows, but you should just be able to re-install QuickTime over the top of the existing installation if there is a problem with it. You could also try re-installing iTunes 6 because I'm pretty sure the Windows version includes QuickTime as well. :) |

Musicmatch Jukebox -- great functionality and fantastic library management capabilities -- takes awhile longer to load than say Winamp or WMP but it really is a great piece of software either in the free version or the licensed version which costs about $20 (US). |

I Would say , download K-Lite Codec Pack , You will get media player clasic with it , and well once the codec pack and MP Clasic are installed , there should be NOTHING that you cant play.... |
