409528 2005-12-01 23:28:00 Hi Folks. Friend has Word 2002 (I think). She has a problem with setting Text Wrap around a graphic. When she selects the Square option, the text appears to the left of a centered graphic but not to the right. She sent me a sample and on my Word 2003 the selection of the graphic and then Square presented the text and graphic as they should be. She has tried all the Text Wrap alternatives. They all work properly except Square. The document is being correctly viewed in Print Mode. Anyone had this problem and/or has a resolution for it. Thanks. Scouse (83)

409530 2005-12-05 05:53:00 Under Advanced options in Format Picture, there is the choices to wrap text on one side only (Right or Left)

Failing that she could consider eliminating a corruption in Normal.dot by following the instructions here:
www.officearticles.com

Normal.dot corruption can produce almost any unwanted behaviour you could imagine within Word.

This article in the link above is written by Dreamboat, the person to whom Cicero refers to above. Dreamboat would be the foremost authority (in my opinion) on Word, I would advise bookmarking the page for reference.

409532 2005-12-05 08:59:00 Hi Scouse
Seems like g/f has given you the answer you need - however you may be interested to know that this very topic is covered in pages 100/101 of the October 2005 edition of PC World. That feature may also give your friend some extra tips.

That edition of PC World is down by the side of my lazy-boy Misty, waiting for me to do more than the initial skim of its contents. Thanks for the directions. Will get back with the results. :D Scouse (83)
409534 2005-12-06 06:28:00 Hi godfather. My elderly friend sends her thanks for your resolution of her problem. The advanced option had somehow been altered - discussions have failed to identify how. Anyway, all sorted and yours truly has learned something further. Thanks. Scouse (83)
