| 409242 | 2005-12-01 07:35:00 | Hi there To start it off, I disconnected my computer from my Home Network tuesday afternoon to take my computer to a party for music. Shutdown etc etc. Well, I had a surprise waiting for me when I came home wednesday morning. Hooked my computer back up, and started everything up. Well..hello...it says its connected, but each computer has only "sent" some packets, never received. Also the internet did work on the client computer (mine). I'd try access each computer from the other and all i get is "network path not found" I cannot ping either computer. pinging 127.0.0.1 works. However ipconfig throws up nothing on the client. And at one point in time, i get a semaphore error when trying to access the other computer. Everything was working COMPLETELY fine before I disconnected my computer. So im buggered if i know whats going on. edit: both comps running win2k |

| 409243 | 2005-12-01 08:05:00 | update: each computer can ping now - however, i get 50% loss or 75% loss. otherwise its "request timed out". However the computers cannot access each other. |
