| 409352 | 2005-12-01 12:22:00 | hello i could do with some help my problem is i cant boot windows because it says windows root system 32\hal.dll. file missing or corrupt please replace with new one how do i get a new one and replace it. Im on my lap top at the moment.thank you. |

| 409353 | 2005-12-01 18:49:00 | Do a repair install. Boot off the XP CD, at the first options screen (R - for Recovery Console or Enter to Install) press enter. You then get the EULA. Then you get a second options screen. Enter to install or R for Repair. Choose Repair. It will replace all corrupt files wthout touching your data. |
