Does anyone know of some security software and tools that I could use for a linux enterprise server? And i don't mean a firewall. I mean tools that u install ONCE and then forget about it and it'll protect the server from hacks etc. Once again, not a firewall. |

The best tool to prevent hacking is a pair of side cutters. Just cut the network cable. Remove the power cord.. Then lock the door.
There's no such thing as "install and forget" security software. NO SOFTWARE IS PERFECT. Even if it existed, the nasty world out there doesn't stand still. |

As Red Hat Enterprise is a commercial product, your subscription includes security patches and updates which are important to keep up to date. Do you have RH Enterprise Linux ES (Basic edition)? |

Something along the lines of iptables, tripwire.... now we've covered the basics we can move on to real security.... ;) |
