Your initial posts said you had just bought it secondhand and that it would read/write CDs but not write DVDs. Which one is it? In the face of all the advice you have received, and the lack of any drivers on the net (whether you need them or not) why do you persist with an obsolete and known to be troublesome drive? Anybody who ever owned one has probably dumped it by now and bought something up to date, which may explain why nobody is able to provide the 'drivers" you want. Give yourself a break, call it quits, toss it and get a new one. In fact, you have gone so long unable to write DVDs that you probably don't have any pressing requirement to burn DVDs so maybe you don't need to buy one after all. Either that, or you are a natural-born optimist with a masochistic streak Cheers Billy 8-{) |
