| 410309 | 2005-12-05 02:13:00 | Hi I've seen a chart in previous PCW mags where approximate usage for each component is listed, to gain an overall sense of power usage by the computer, to determine the appropriate PSU. Can anyone post one of these charts, or perhaps post a link to a suitable site? Cheers Lizard |

| 410314 | 2005-12-05 02:35:00 | Thanks for that - jscustompcs and extreme were very helpful. Both indicate that my current PSU (370W) would be sufficient (even with planned pruchases), so have probably saved myself $100 splurge on a new PSU... Cheers Lizard |

| 410317 | 2005-12-05 04:03:00 | Is the PSU an Excel brand?? The specs you mention, are they your intended upgrade or what you have at the moment, if the later what are you upgrading to. Just guessing its a cheap PSU, I would get a new one soon as you can afford to. Cheap PSU = Sh!ty quality. |
