You can read the stuff yourself in that book. Interpretations?' Lot offers daughters. Lot leaves, wife is killed by god because she looked back and god disapproves. Lot then has kids with daughters. God approves. It's stuffed full of things like that, how is that interpretations??? That's the thing with religion, when it gets to the awkward bits, they don't mention it ta all, stopping before it gets nasty and then raving about how the tiny bit they read shows X, Y.Z...whatever they bang on about. Any direct question about those bits leads to twaddle about "interpreting". Shall we be more direct then? Why is it 99% of bible people ignore the list of rules in Leviticus then? Do not do: 1. 2. 3. etc....pretty clear to me. But of course most never mention it at all. But then trying to inject logic to the religiously brainwashed is about as useful as discussing quantum physics with the cat. |
