2015-02-23 06:37:00 | Nope, didn't work next time I started the pc! Now have just informed me that the DryTek is not compatible with their hardware, so they're giving me a NetComm NF4V ,used of course! I'll post back after I've got that running!

2015-02-23 22:06:00 | The DrayTek DV2710ne is ADSL2+ only If they're giving you a NetComm NF4V is it coz you're on VDSL2? That'd make sense. The NF4V isn't bad. It's not amazing, but it's not bad, and for most homes / small businesses it'll hold up well. I'd take it over the Technicolor / Huawei stuff any day, in a heartbeat!!

I think it's been asked about 3 times now if it's ADSL or VDSL with out a straight answer. |

2015-02-24 07:47:00 | Right,"it's" going to give an answer if it can stop "it's" nose from dribbling on the keyboard!Woke up to a massive cold, which didn't stop me going to get the NF4V. "It's" on ADSL, as chill mentioned, the DrayTek is only good for ADSL! They've given me an NF4V because I asked if I had to buy a new router would the NF4V do the job. They decided to give me one because they couldn't get the DrayTek to work.Something to do with a direct line feed from the exchange, not going through a cabinet. Anyhow, the pc sees it now on startup unlike the loan one I had,so I'm happy. Thanks for all your help, guys.

2015-02-24 10:17:00 | If you're on a cabinet or exchange shouldn't matter a tiny bit. Something is weird with your setup. | Alex B (15479) | |
2015-02-24 19:02:00 | Probably Alex B! I think they said it's something to do with the way they've transferred me from Xnet. At least it's all working now.

2015-02-25 05:10:00 | Thing is, when changing from Xnet where the DV2710ne worked, to something else, you may have also changed to VDSL2 at the same time... That's why I asked ;) | Chilling_Silence (9) | |
