I reckon, I'd rather hear a robust but honest expression of opinion than the two-faced slithering of some creeping-jesus self-centred nosebag who has nothing but their own interests in mind. The press seem to think that they don't have to respect the wishes of politicians, or any other 'hot-issue' interviewees, and can chase them down the street shouting questions at them. Call that an interview?

Winston has got their number though, he is the master of the seemingly gentlemanly shutdown, but in reality he is shafting them.

Pam Corkery is more direct, they were told nicely once and that should be enough. Next time she gives them both barrels, right between the eyes.

And I'm still waiting for John Key to say anything that wasn't scripted for him, other than his smug-faced put-downs.

That is not the way to govern a country.

1382436 2014-08-29 05:51:00 And I am still waiting for Winston to produce some proof of any of his many accusations. The man appears to be a serial teller of made up stories which he uses to keep his name in the news. CliveM (6007)
1382437 2014-08-29 10:35:00 Read my lips.. NO. (well actually I mean yes) Peters was good in his day, but sadly I think he has passed his best before date.
Brendan Horan though I think has potential.

Actually he's not a governor - he's a minister

1382439 2014-08-29 20:43:00 When it comes to lengthily saying nothing, Key is closing in on the skills of Holyoake, between them (with a sympathetic jury) they might rate as a half-wit.
However, it seems both are magically attractive to sheep.

A corker performance I thought.
