I still would like this to happen if can . The problem is my name shows up on google search results and it has links to where i was a member like along time ago when i was a teenager . Example if i search John Edwards i see John Edward - Twitter , John Edward - Formspring and it goes on . I would really appreciate if someone out there who could try and help me out . Thanks |

Even if removing from search engines - your name/profile would still be live on the website, generally found by direct url entry, unless if blocked by firewalls, paywalls, or passwords. Though you could try Google's web master tools (need to log in) - but generally for content that you own, or submit a request but certain reasons have to be met I think, info here. | 1394808 | 2015-02-22 08:53:00 | There would be many people with the same name as you. How would they know that "John Edward" was you? Unless you had posted photos of yourself or other identifiable information you probably don't need to be overly worried. | Jen (38) | ||

If it's something specific contact the website where it's located and ask them if they can remove it. I think it's a bit like herding cats though, a lot of stuff gets re-posted, linked, quoted, cached, etc If I search my real name I find nothing except my facebook page and that's fairly tame. If I search my Aliases that I use for sites like this though I have a scary footprint going back years and even somehow got one of my posts onto a quote website at one point. Some comment I made about miracles stopping when the Video camera was invented. |

Then disconnect your internet , permanently, as there are many databases out there gathering/adding more & more info on your internet usage (and all internet users) Sensible answer is stop googling your name. No one else will be , its out there, so what. So is everyones past internet use to a certain degree. :) |
