| 410929 | 2005-12-07 18:16:00 | I store all my correspondence using microsoft word. Whenever I recall a letter from the word document files it comes up with todays date rather than the date it was created. Which if one is not careful the date can be overlooked Does anyone have a simmple fix. Gary Mangham |

| 410933 | 2005-12-09 00:22:00 | Hi Gary. Sorry for not getting back to you earlier... Go to Insert > Time and Date. Ensure that there is no tick in the Update automatically box and then tick the Default box. The stupid thing is probably remembering that the last time it had a tick in the auto box it was made as the default for all future uses.... . Try it. No auto and click default. |
