411492 2005-12-09 21:17:00 How can Folder names within larger Folders be displayed when the 'view thumbnail' option is selected?

In 'My Pictures' names are visible beneath each thumbnail but in other main folders the names are only visible by hovering the pointer over each thumbnail in turn.

TIA PeterE

411494 2005-12-10 10:36:00 There must be a problem in your system, as in thumbnail view the folder name is displayed in the same manner as the file names are displayed on my similar version of XP. godfather (25)

Hold shift while selecting Thumbnail view to toggle filenames on and off.
