| 411281 | 2005-12-09 03:45:00 | My computer, unasked, puts up a new window <Window Installer> and when I try to pursue this it tells me it cannot locate "patchsourcelist\patch-r.msp." I first of all ran an uptodate virus check, then searched my hard drive. No result was found. I have WXP, professional edition. I am at an age where my brain cells play hide-and-seek, so I would appreciate a simple reply if possible. Where to from here? |

| 411283 | 2005-12-09 06:08:00 | I had been trying to reinstall Omnipage 14, a programme that has given me headaches, not in its design but in installation problems and odd 'hiccups'. I had given up and was trying to uninstall. I think that was when the problem began??? Thanks for your query. | dkeall (5703) | ||
| 411284 | 2005-12-09 07:04:00 | Did you manage to uninstall it completely? Download and run this program - CCleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com/). Take a look at the registry with it and see if you can locate any old entries in the registry. Make sure you create a registry backup first. Let us know if this helps or not. |
