2005-12-08 11:14:00 | After my gigabyte K8NS 939 ultra shat out i got an asus av8 and my monitors getting no signal..i tryed different video cards (geforce 2 and Raedon 9800 se) and then i try my TV. Is it faulty, i cleared the bios and nothing happened either. [edit] motherboards they are a pain in the bum [Edit: you have already been asked once not to use profane words in your posts, a single * to replace a letter doesn't make it OK to use - Jen (Moderator)]

2005-12-08 11:48:00 | a friend thinks it might be the cpu or ram. i doubt it tho, running 1 stick of adata ddr400 512mb and a amd a64 3000+ | elmo (8988) | |
2005-12-08 12:17:00 | You managed to get to the BIOS mobo and VGA card arent completly wasted. Is it making any beeps upon startup. You mate may be onto something, try swaping parts out.

However just because you had a board go down before, it is bad practice to assume its the same thing again (although you may be right, but at this stage its a guess). Only way to test this is swapping the parts out, PSU,RAM,CPU(unlikely), video card etc. |

2006-01-25 19:11:00 | the common factor, well one of them seems to be yoru ram.....i have seen the 'no video' problem turn up when ram is not suited to a board or is faulty...... | drcspy (146) | |
