| 412851 | 2005-12-15 01:22:00 | I have been having a problem with the Roboform toolbar not being active in Firefox since I installed Version 1.5 According to Roboform support, this a known issue since the Roboform Toolbar has a conflict with the StumbleUpon extension for Firefox 1.5. Since I use and enjoy both StumbleUpon and Roboform, I am somewhat loathe to get rid of either one. In this regard I was perusing the "Problematic Extensions" in Mozillazine support where I came upon a thread where this exact problem was under discussion. forums.mozillazine.org In this thread it was recommended that editing two user preferences in about:config. would solve the conflict viz. general.useragent.vendorSub stumble.xxxxxx.modify_uagent I thought that the solution my work for me since I seem to have the same problem exactly but when I accessed my own about:config entries, somewhat surprisingly I do NOT have either entry listed. What is to be done? Should I insert the entries as above and if so, How do I do that? Or if not, is there any way I can get these two useful extensions to live together in harmony with firefox1.5? Thank you for your advice. :help: |
