412408 2005-12-13 20:14:00 Hi,

I think I have a virus on my computer but I'm not sure if I do. Everytime I start up the computer, a window pops up with the following message:

Copy Error

Setup cannot copy the file ceres.dll.

Ensure that the location specified below is correct, or change it and insert '(Unknown)' in the drive you specify.

Copy files from:
C:\DOCUME~1\WINDOW~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\D2640

Is this a virus? What does it do? How can I fix it?

This has been happening for a few weeks now. The O/S I am using is Windows Xp.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Michael

412409 2005-12-13 20:31:00 You may have this (securityresponse.symantec.com)

Download this (securityresponse.symantec.com) and see if this removes it. This is from the above site.

I would also get ccleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com) and clean out the temp files etc.

BOOOOOONK!!! :horrified

Unless the op is an expert user, CC can cause problems and do more harm than good, and there is nothing in the op's post to indicate that he is an expert user .
