2005-12-17 06:58:00 | a friend of mine might have a laptop for sale very soon. its got a cracked screen so its nearly un-usable. he is getting a new one since a new screen was like 1000 bucks apparently. the laptop is a p4 ht 3GHz i belive, 40gb hdd, and 256mb ram. i wouldnt mind having it actually. could find a use for it. how much do you think its worth? | Prescott (11) | |

It is probably not worth more than a couple of hundred max. Other opinions may vary. Cheers Billy 8-{) |

2005-12-17 07:37:00 | You can still get a wee server for a few hundred. Unlucky really. | DangerousDave (697) | |

2005-12-17 09:41:00 | Being me no screen I just get a PC. Defeats the purpose really of a desktop when you can get a PC. A laptop is much restricted than a PC .. the parts. If I had to get it for whatever reason I say $450 max.

2005-12-18 02:06:00 | $200 Would work well as a server, or even a media PC, plug that old girl into your TV. In fact using it as a media Centre PC is a damn good idea, Tell your bud I'll offer $220...... :D
