| 413308 | 2005-12-16 23:34:00 | Hi When I type a key on my keyboard it causes a Windows function to operate instead of typing the letter into my text. For example, when I want to type 'e' Windows Explorer opens instead of typing the 'e', etc. How do I fix this? Thanks Paul |

| 413310 | 2005-12-16 23:43:00 | Is it ANYKEY that causes this problem . . . or is it a specific one? I had a loss of function for my "HOME" and "END" key that was the brunt of a few (more than that really) jokes about my keyboard on another post just a day or so ago . Anyway, I just made a repair/install of XP and got everything back . It was simple and didn't require me to look for the drivers for those keys (that's a joke! . . . don't go there!) . Hope you have the instal disk . . . if not, then you are gonna lose all your goodies when you use the restore discs . I would wait till you get a few more replies b4 you do anything though . . . I may be totally off base here . . . I am in California and get that (off base stuff) all the time . |
